New Orleans
This year’s conference takes place in the historic French Quarter of New Orleans

The 2023 SOF Conference will take place in New Orleans’ historic French Quarter on November 9-12. Presenters include Margo Anderson, William Niederkorn, Ros Barber, and Professors Roger Stritmatter, Sky Gilbert, and Michael Delahoyde. See the full schedule.

Can’t attend in person? Join us on the Livestream, which will allow you to hear all the papers and panels!

Registration for the Livestream is now available at just $99 for the whole conference.

Everyone purchasing the Livestream – as well as anyone attending in person – will be able to watch the presentations not only as they happen but for a period of 30 days afterward. So if you miss a paper or want to hear it again, you can just go back in.

A reminder as well that the conference fee (not the Livestream cost) increases as of 1 October by $25. So save your money and register before that date. SOF can also only guarantee the negotiated hotel rates until that date as well (though we will try to keep them available as long as hotel space exists). Learn more about the conference, lodging, and all in person and Livestream options here.

Hope to see you one way or another in NOLA.

— Earl Showerman, SOF President
