Ron Destro is an acclaimed actor, director and teacher whose recently published, award winning, fast-paced and entertaining historical novel The Starre, the Moone, the Sunne: What if everything you ever learned about William Shakespeare was a lie? seeks to tell the true story behind Shakespeare’s works.

Ron recounts his experiences staging Shakespeare plays at Bosworth Field, Birnam Wood, Elsinore, Hedingham Castle, and other significant locations.

He discusses the pleasures and challenges of writing historical fiction about Shakespeare and the authorship question and shares how Sir Derek Jacobi came to be the narrator of the audio book version of The Starre, the Moone, the Sunne.
