Exploring the evidence that the works of Shakespeare were written by Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford

The Blue Boar Tavern opens its doors on March 17

Join Oxfordian scholars for a pint in The Blue Boar Tavern.

Ben August joins SOF President Bob Meyers for the third installment of The SOF Interviews, our new video series of informal talks with Oxfordians. August, an SOF trustee and longtime Oxfordian, introduces a new members-only monthly video series. “The Blue Boar Tavern” is a lively, sometimes irreverent, gathering of Oxfordians and others over a pint to talk about their favorite non-author (hint: initials are WS) and favorite actual author (EdeV).

August shares a clip featuring tavern regulars Bonner Miller Cutting, Earl Showerman, Rick Waugaman, Hank Whittemore, and bartender Jonathan Dixon.

The tavern will open on March 17 and can be entered by all SOF members. (Not a current member? Join or renew here.)
