Exploring the evidence that the works of Shakespeare were written by Edward de Vere, 17th Earl of Oxford

Tonight’s Blue Boar Tavern

Blue Boar Tavern InteriorTonight at 8 pm Eastern/5 pm Pacific the Blue Boar Tavern invites two special guests to school us in how European politics feature in Shakespeare’s “Love’s Labour’s Lost”.

Dr. Elisabeth Waugaman, PhD in Medieval French Literature and Dr. Rima Greenhill, PhD in Russian Languages and Literature will discuss how the Bard was reflecting then-contemporary French and Russian events in this delightfully punny play in which the quick wits of four men are bested by the quicker wits of the four women with whom they fall in love.
