The SOF is happy to announce that it is now active on Instagram.
What is Instagram?
Instagram is a social media platform where users can post photos and short videos (15 seconds or less) with captions to captivate their followers. It is a popular platform with hundreds of millions of users across the world. You can view the SOF Instagram page here.
Our Instagram page is managed by York University graduate Justin Borrow and will be posting actively on behalf of the Fellowship. We will highlight breaking news from the website as well as present different members of the Fellowship and their stories to our followers. Please feel free to follow the SOF account and share it with your friends. By expanding out into the world of Instagram, we will be able to reach a younger and different type of audience on a different platform, thus helping to spread our message more broadly.
How to join Instagram:
You can join Instagram from any smartphone. Simply go to your app store, search for Instagram and download the free app. After downloading, open the app and click the “sign up” button. Follow the instructions and create your account.
How to follow the SOF on Instagram:
Once you have created your account, click on the search option and type in “Shakespeareoxfordfellowship.” You will see our logo pop up and it will give you the option to “follow.” Click it and voila, you are done.
Instagram is a great tool to present news in a visually captivating way.
