SOF members are invited to join journalist and literary critic Elizabeth Winkler in a Zoom discussion of her book “Shakespeare Was a Woman and Other Heresies: How Doubting the Bard Became the Biggest Taboo in Literature”

The book provides an engaging and entertaining account of Winkler’s journey as she examines the Shakespeare authorship controversy, interviewing top scholars and reporting on what she calls the ‘literary malpractice’ of elite Shakespeare scholars who are invested in maintaining comfortable yet deeply problematic narratives.

You can read reviews of Elizabeth’s book here

The discussion, hosted by Kathryn Sharpe, will be on Sunday July 30 at 10:00 AM Pacific time US.

If you would like to join, please contact Kathryn at info@shakespeareoxfordfellowship.org
