New Haven Conference registration now open!

Mark your calendars for September 18 – 21 and place your Conference reservations here! Please note that space is limited, so register now to ensure you can attend.

Attendance is $325 per person with a $25 discount for members and one partner plus a $25 discount for registering on or before August 18.

Or in other words, for every member and member’s partner registering on or before August 18 the cost will be $275.

For members registering after August 18 the cost will be $300.

For non members the cost will be $300 for registering on or before August 18 and $325 after that.

Registration includes attendance at all conference presentations plus Thursday reception and a Saturday banquet.

An SOF conference is not a money making event; our goal is to break even.  We will not be offering daily rates until September 10 when we will have a clearer picture of our fiduciary commitment.

Cancellation policy:  We have committed to paying the hotel a minimum fee for booked rooms, food and catering and we will be assessed a penalty if we don’t meet that minimum.  In order to best anticipate avoiding a penalty we will issue a full refund up to and including Aug 18.  After Aug 18 we will issue a refund of whatever a registrant paid minus $119.  That $119 will be applied to the Livestream so you will still be able to enjoy the meeting.

Livestream registration information will be posted close to conference time.

The conference will be held at the Omni Hotel in New Haven where the special room rate is $219 plus tax for single or double rooms.  It is good from Wednesday September 17 through Thursday September 25. If any problem arises or if a particular date or room type is unavailable please contact Don Rubin at  drubin@yorku.ca  As conference director, Don can contact the hotel to make adjustments on your behalf.

These rates are valid only through Aug. 18.

Please reserve your hotel room at SOF Annual Conference (Omni Hotel)  and remember to register for the Conference itself as soon as you can so we can keep track of overall numbers which are limited. Our last two conferences were both sold out in advance.
