The year 2020 will mark the 100th anniversary of the publication of “Shakespeare” Identified by J. Thomas Looney, the book that introduced the Oxfordian theory of authorship to the world.
The Shakespeare Oxford Fellowship has been planning the 100th anniversary celebration of “Shakespeare” Identified since 2014. Since that time, our “SI-100” Committee has been researching the life of J. Thomas Looney, uncovering some of his long-forgotten letters and articles, communicating with his descendants, and studying the impact of his groundbreaking book on later authorship studies. Did you know that since 1920, Oxfordians have written 6,000 articles and 300 books? The depth of the research is staggering. And all of these researchers are standing on the shoulders of J. Thomas Looney.
As part of our celebration of Looney’s landmark achievement, the SOF is raising funds to purchase a headstone for his grave (the spot currently lacks a permanent marker) and to support research and publications that honor and extend his legacy.
The SOF is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3). Your donation is deductible to the extent allowed by law.
