Candidates for Shakespeare authorship
Who Wrote Shakespeare?

Voting is now open in the SOF’s Third Annual “Who Wrote Shakespeare?” Video Contest at https://shakespeareoxfordfellowship.org/2019-video-contest/. Everyone can vote, so please visit the contest page, watch the videos, and vote for your favorite! And share this link with your friends through email, Facebook, Twitter, and other social media. Please help us introduce as many people as possible to the Shakespeare authorship question and to our website through this contest. Please spread the word!

Did a glover’s son from Stratford really write the plays and poems of “William Shakespeare”? Or was the name a pseudonym designed to mask the real author’s identity? Doubts have persisted for centuries, with Mark Twain, Walt Whitman, Sigmund Freud, Sir Derek Jacobi, Charlie Chaplin, and five U.S. Supreme Court justices among the skeptics.

In the “Who Wrote Shakespeare?” video contest, we asked contestants to give us their “take” on the authorship question in a 3-minute video. Now we ask you to give us your “take” on the 8 videos that reached the finals by viewing them and voting for your favorite.

Please vote for your favorite and encourage others to do so as well.

Voting is open from August 20 through October 10, 2019.

Winners will be announced on October 20, 2019 at the SOF conference in Hartford and on the SOF website.
